Louann, i’m satisfied you discovered my web page. This restoration for the cord shelves isn’t best, but i’ve been the use of it for several years now so it does paintings. An awful lot higher than no liner at all, that’s for positive!. Just located your web page looking for a manner to “fix” my twine shelves! I have the same trouble with matters tipping over. Would really like to position clear acrylic on them however… ya… that money factor. So far i've used cheaper posterboard on a number of the cabinets, which works but it does get dirty and then want to get replaced. I assume this touch paper may work higher, and despite the fact that not “sheer” it nevertheless appears mild sufficient to keep light in the pantry. (The contact paper makes the cabinets beneath it dark!) I’m going to search for this at wal-mart – thanks!.
Everlyn, i’m certain there are plenty of finishes available now because it’s been some years considering the fact that this little project. And sure, a clear finish might be amazing to hold objects from tipping over and still being able to see “among” the cabinets!. I love my pantry as it’s massive sufficient and it’s convenient to the cooking location in my kitchen.? however i’m now not in love with the wire shelves.? matters tip over on them.? such things as small bottles and packing containers of cereal.? and things spill, like molasses dripping onto packing containers and cans, growing sticky puddles inside the floor.
